My interest in natural history has spread to include the Odonates, or Dragonflies and Damselflies in the past 15 years. After completing illustrations for a small publication in Ontario’s Algonquin Park in 1997, covering a sample of the diversity found there, I moved on to complete illustrations aimed at identifying all the Clubtails in the new guide that includes all species found in Algonquin Park and surrounding area (published October 2008 put link to FOA). Aside from Odonates, my training in natural history at Algonquin from 1987-1990 ignited an interest in butterflies.  I have illustrated several species for entomological publications over the years. Like the birds, these are painted in watercolor and gouache.
